Bottled-up feelings and emotions pouring out and now, I can breathe again. 🌬️ [How I released and accepted them]

Dear April has been very tumultuous and exciting so far. Tumoltous and exciting because I always try to see the moment I experience in duality, in it's balance. There's ALWAYS something to be grateful for and I try to remind myself that especially during hard moments I am faced with.

How do I actually manage to even do it during times of disappointment and sadness?

I have disciplined myself to always be aware of my well-being and how I feel and if I sense that I'm entering darker thoughts and emotions, I try my best to take a mental one step back and do a few deep breaths and then shift my focus to positive, expressing my gratitude towards the good in my life. From that point of view, things get more soft, gentle and a swirl of bottled-up feelings and emotions comes pouring out of me with such force and intensity, that gratitude instantly comes again on display in my mind. Sometimes as a by-product of such intense release, I start smiling from my heart as well.

From that moment on, the realization and state of the situation start to shape and form, and eventually, when I get calm and cool again, I can claim understanding and compassion for my perspective, actions, and thoughts.

That process usually unfolds for us when some neglected memories and feelings from the past can no longer be hidden and for example, if we take them as a character living in us, they take matters into their own hands and come knocking on your mental door for us to face them and sort our turmoil out. They refuse to be ignored and will stay there from that point on, usually in a form of guilt, that resides in us permanently until seen.

To face our past wounds and traumas or broken realtionships and surrender to all that it brings with it, is a pure act of bravery and love and a beautiful sign that we care about ourselves and our mental health deeply. We are aware that to truly live our lives to the fullest, we need to nurture our fire and light. When faced with the deepest fears and ugliest feelings in us, it's one of the greatest acts of self-love.

Believe in your ability and power you hold
to unlock the way and set yourself free.

3 tips from my experience on how to handle yourself during hard times:

1. Detach yourself to someplace you find comfortable and take a few deep breaths (full inhale, pause for 3 seconds, and full exhale).

2. Shift your attention to some memory from your life that brings nothing but joy and in the moment you feel the positive vibrations pouring in, generate utmost gratitude for the good in your life.

3. After first 2 steps, take your sacred time to rest and reset, a good sleep or walk in nature is very beneficial and try to not look at any screens, so that your mind, soul and body can get a proper regeneration.

My dear beautiful reader, I am immensely grateful and happy that you have decided to give me a chance and read my whole blog entry. It means that you find my words worthy of your time and you maybe learned something new. With that act, you also support my creativity and passion for writing. πŸ₯°
